Tanzy – A minor NPC who’s part of Gisselle’s Troupe that Agnea met. Meanwhile, he corrupted people like Trousseau. Since his chosen heir could be the vessel the Order let him carry on. D’arqest infused him with Vide’s blood while he was in the womb, intending to make him a vessel for Vide. He’s the grandson of the archmage, D’arqest. Not actually a part of the Moonshadow Order but they both used each other. Harvey – Osvald’s nemesis who framed him, killed his wife, kidnapped his daughter, and then was killed by Osvald. His descent to madness was caused by meeting Claude who showed him the Book of Night, which contained horrific histories of the world that broke Trousseau’s spirit. OT2 also had some quality of life improvements. The game balance was a bit better and the side areas were a lot of fun. The plot was good, I really liked the character stories, and finally getting a proper connected story at the end was good. I’d still like more interactions between the travelers but it was a step up from the original. I enjoyed OT1 a lot and I enjoyed this game a bit more. I was overleveled for less time and bosses fought at an appropriate level provide a good challenge. I’d say it overall seems easier than that group but not by too much.
